John Dungan is an attorney at Kershner Sledziewski Law, where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation, eviction and tenancy termination matters, debt collection, and strategic post-judgment enforcement. He brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to each case, drawing on his background in business strategy and litigation planning to deliver practical solutions for clients.
 
John is actively involved in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and advising clients on risk management and dispute resolution. His experience includes working with individuals and businesses across a range of industries, and he is particularly focused on helping clients navigate complex legal issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
 
Prior to joining the firm, John gained valuable experience through clerkships at multiple law firms, where he developed skills in strategic planning and transactional drafting. He also holds a strong academic foundation in both law and business.

Originally from Evanston, Illinois, John now lives in Chicago’s Sheridan Park neighborhood with his wife and their dog. Outside of work, he enjoys biking along the lakefront, golfing, and spending time at the beach, especially in Kauai, Hawaii.
